1. What we collect
Sponsors and donors: name, email, organization, and payment info (handled by Stripe — we never store full card numbers).
Students: name and email at minimum, only if an admin invites them. Profile photos and stories only if uploaded and approved.
Sharers receiving ACH payouts: name and bank account details, collected and held by our payments partner Stripe — we never see or store full account numbers.
Sharers receiving gift-card rewards: email address only, shared with our gift-card delivery provider so they can send and redeem the card.
Usage: standard analytics about which pages are viewed and which campaigns get traction.
2. How we use it
To run the platform: process donations, send receipts, attribute referrals, deliver sharer rewards (ACH or digital gift card), allocate Share Fund earnings, and notify admins of campaign activity. We do not sell your data.
3. Sharing
We share data only with service providers and only as needed to operate the service: Stripe (payments and ACH sharer payouts), our gift-card delivery partner (sharer reward email + redemption), hosting infrastructure, and email delivery.
4. Your rights
You can request a copy of your data, correct it, or delete it by emailing privacy@shareathon.com.
5. Cookies
We use minimal cookies for sign-in sessions and referral attribution. No third-party advertising trackers.

7. Security
Data in transit is encrypted with TLS. Sensitive operations require authentication. We follow industry best practices for storage and access control.
