Draft — pending attorney review
1. The name
Write it as Shareathon — one word, capital S, no hyphen. Legacy uses of "Share-a-thon" are fine in historical context but new content should use Shareathon.
2. What you can do
- Refer to Shareathon by name in articles, podcasts, posts, and press.
- Link to shareathon.com and to specific Shareathon pages.
- Say "we use Shareathon to power our fundraiser" — go for it.
- Use unmodified screenshots of the app to show how it works in a news, education, or how-to context.
3. What you can't do
- Use the Shareathon name or logo in a way that implies endorsement, partnership, or affiliation that doesn't exist.
- Modify the Shareathon logo (no recoloring, stretching, recombining, or adding effects).
- Use the Shareathon name in your own product name, domain, app name, or social handle.
- Use the Shareathon name or marks for political campaigns or causes that violate our Acceptable Use policy.
- Suggest that Shareathon endorses a particular organization, candidate, or product.
4. Press kit
Need logos in SVG or PNG, or a one-pager about the product? Email press@shareathon.com and we'll send a kit.
5. Report misuse
If you've seen someone passing themselves off as Shareathon, please write legal@shareathon.com.
